We're going from Chicago, IL, in the east to Los Angeles, CA, on the west. 18 days in the saddle of a Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide. I had plan to drive through The Mother Road - Route 66 a few decades back... Those decades were not too much. Exactly, I planed to drive through Route 66 when I returned from Japan 12 years ago. Why I realize my dream too late? It was especially the government's position of the United States of America! Why am I so fascinated the Mother Road - Route 66? I perhaps that there is more interesting route around the World than The Moter Road... Probably yes, but I have my personal reasons. I was born day before, well 1974, 25th of June, which is 6 days later than the last Cadillac was installed at Amarillo, TX. Approximately 4 days later than was the official Opening Party in case of Cadillac Ranch project, well 1974, 21st of June. In addition, Route 66 was officially removed from the U.S. Highway System 1985, 27th of June, well two days later. fuck, there is too many coincidences in one place... I had to see it and live through!
