Are you planning or have you already on Mother Road - Route 66 road trip? Do not be lazy to make a little turn out of Mother Road - Route 66 and do not forget to visit another US attractions. At first, of course, you must see Cadillac Ranch near by Mother Road - Route 66. You can see it from car seats…

America offers plenty of places along Mother Road - Route 66 to see. Obviously they are not too far of it. Surely within driving distance around 150 US miles. I will skip towns, because if you are like me, then you will find rather historical and lonesome places, but much interesting.

The exception proves the rule, well in our case is Milwaukee, WI and Las Vegas, AZ. Milwaukee could be recommend by me regarding to Harley-Davidson Museum.  There is also original factory, where is producing heavy US motorcycles since 1903 under the brand Harley-Davidson. It is great! It is just 110 US miles north of Chicago, IL so if you are keen on motorcycles, especially on Harley-Davidson like me, visit it!

Las Vegas is 120 US miles north-west of Kingman, AZ out of Mother Road - Route 66. Why should I visit Las Vegas? Because you can use Las Vegas as base camp for your trip out of Arizona. Where? To Grand Canyon or Death Valey. Grand Canyon is more interesting from my point of view! Why? SkyWalk that is why! I looking forward to SkyWalk, but I was angry because I could not take camera or camcoder with myself... Indian bastards! They want to sell me fucked expensive e-card instead of my own high-quality picture! Southern tail of Grand Canyon is about 80 US miles north of Williams, AZ. You can not be disappointed!

Another destination you can visit from base camp in Las Vegas is Death Valey, which is located on the territory of two states, Nevada and California. You will experience a long ride along abandoned desert roads. Do not forget to take a lot of water with you...

Monument Valley, UT is another interesting and unforgettable place to visit along Mother Road - Route 66. It is a monumental. Monument Valley is 160 US miles north-east of Flagstaf, AZ.

Next world-famous national park Joshua Tree National Park is 50 US miles out of Mother Road - Route 66 only. It is known for its desert flora. Environmentalists beware! If you drive your own motorcycle, opened exhaust included, you will probably have a little bit problem... local people like their park so much and if you have unapproved exhaust system, you can not go in! No exception!

If you drive Route 395 instead of Mother Road - Route 66 you will go by Yosemite National Park, CA. Yosemite N.P. is available from Mother Road - Route 66 as well, but you have to go through Barstow, CA and go northward along Route 395 about 550 US miles.

My favorite Sequoia National Park is much closer than Yosemite N.P.. Kings Canyon is famous for giant and ancient sequoia threes. Can you hug one of them, Mr. Zeman? I saw them and I must say they are fucking huge!
